This or That

This or that is another icebreaker, great for first days.

The teacher says what side of the class is one option, what side is the other and where is the middle. Students have to move towards one and stay there to later explain, if they want, why they chose that place. They do not have to necessarily stand and the end, they can move around the space. The only condition is they can’t stand in the very middle. I recommend teachers to play and model so they know what you expect from them.

If you have a large group you will have time to ask 4 per round aprox.

It is a great activity for them to express their decisions and to get to know them better.
